The Punt #4

Unfortunately no winners this week, although a couple of our experts came close. There is some big money on the table this week, so can Matt, Tomo and David finally get off the mark?

(Total)(Change from last week)

1. Adrian ($78) (-$10)

2. The Phantom ($57.80) (-$10)

3. David  (-$30) (-$10)

3. Matt  (-$30) (-$10)

3. Tomo  (-$30) (-$10)

Super Rugby Margin Double- Reds1-12/Stormers1-12 @ $8.10 (The two home sides should come away with the wins here, setting up a massive final at Suncorp next week, although I can’t see either game being a blow out) & Parramatta vs Brisbane 1st Try Scorer – Jack Reed @ $11 (The red head, who featured in Adrian’s All Star line up, has been in fantastic form of late, and I’m looking to him to lift the Baby Broncos here) = $89.10

Wimbledon Winners Double- Djokovic-Sharapova @ $7.75 (Weren’t they dating at some point or something? I’m not really sure, I don’t concern myself with that off-court business. What I do think however is that both these individuals will win their semi-final matches and the final. You digg?) & AFL- Highest Scoring Team- Fremantle @ $4.00 (They’re playing the Suns at Patersons Playground… it’s Pav’s 250th game for the club…  Despite their injuries, I’m thinking this is going to be nasty!) = $31

The Phantom

Hawthorn at the line (+28.5pts) over Collingwood @ $1.67 (A clash between two top 4 sides, this is always going to be close. The Pies should win, but Hawthorn will stay within 5 goals.) Sweden def Korea DPR in FIFA Women’s World Cup @ $2.10- Sweden are one of the undercover powerhouses of women’s football, and they should have far too much class for the well organsied but under-skilled Korea DPR.) & Reds to beat Blues by more than 5.5pts @ $1.87 (The Reds have been near unbeatable at home this year, and after a week off, they will have too much run in the legs for the Blues.) QLD to win Origin 3 @ $1.63 (It pains me as a NSW fan to say this, but this QLD team is one of the best in history, and they will see off future Immortal Darren Lockyer in style with a 6th straight series win.) = $10.69

Wimbledon Winners Double- MURRAY-SHARAPOVA @ $14 (Nadal’s injured, Fed is gone and Djoko’s playing as well as anyone right now. Let’s go on the great British hope Murray! Or great Scottish goat Murray if he loses again and the English Dis-own him…again. Also, Sharapova is in a great position to win the Slam that kicked started her career.) & WIM Men SF Nadal-Murray 01/07 – Head to Head- Murray @ 2.65 (If Murray’s going to beat Nadal, he’s never going to have a better opportunity than now with an injured Nadal and a Wimbledon crowd behind him.) = $37.10

Super Rugby – Half/Full Double – Crusaders/Stormers @ $6.50 (The Crusaders are going to come out firing and will take a narrow lead into half time, only to be overhauled by the Stormers in the second half.) & Wimbledon Men SF Djokovic-Tsonga 01/07 – Set Betting – Novak DJOKOVIC wins 3 sets – 1 set @ $3.85 (Tsonga will be tired after his win against the FedEx and will not be at his best against the in form Djokovic. Tsonga will win a set, but Djocovic will win the game.) = $ 25.03 (rounded up from $25.025)
