NRL Round 26/AFL Round 24 Megatips
Time for… MEGATIPS. Plenty happening this week, as we head into the last round of the regular season for both the NRL and AFL. For many, it will be the last time you see your club side go ’round for the season – get out and support them if you can! The EPL has the week off, due to the international qualifiers. Let’s go!

Knights v Rabbitohs
Matt says…”For the last few weeks its been touted as the game to decide the top eight, and as fate would have it we’ve now reached that point. The Knights, in front of a rowdy home crowd on old boys day need to turn around some poor form in the last few weeks to win, but will probably enter as slight (very slight) favourites in this one. Souths had a massive momentum until last week, where a bludger of a game saw them defeated 22-10 by the Broncos, but they were missing Nathan Merritt and John Sutton, and now Greg Inglis will miss the remainder of the season with an ankle injury. Both Merritt and Sutton will be playing under neddles, and I think this could have a big bearing on the game, along with the fact that it is old boys day at Ausgrid, where the Knights have only ever lost once (to the red-hot Dragons late last year). Chris Sandow is in amazing form, firming for the Dally M Medal, but unfortunately he can only do so much, and I believe a Knights victory is one the way. But, the rest of the experts are split on the game, which means its going to be an absolute botler! Be sure to tune in…”
AFL
Collingwood v Geelong
The Phantom says…“Wow – the top two sides facing each other in the last round of the competition. Many have said all season that this will be the grand final, and we might just be getting a sneak peak on Friday night. Collingwood welcome back Wellingham, Ball and Tarrant, losing the rejuvenated Leon Davis through injury, and Daisy via a suspension. Milburn and Mitch Duncan return for the Cats. This is a tough one, as the Cats knocked the Pies off earlier in the year, but after going down to Sydney at home, they’re not looking that crash hot. Stick with the Pies in this one.”
