We’ve had… two winners! Amazing. Matt cashed in, and has shot into first place at the right time of the year. After spending much of the year on the bottom of the ladder, David has climbed into second spot and could steal it right at the death. It’s gone down to the wire – read on to see where we’re spending our cash.

NBA – Dallas v Miami – Miami win @ $1.60 – Don’t really know why, but I have a feeling the Heat will come out firing in this one and start the short season off with a bang.

Cricket – Australia v India – Most wickets – Peter Siddle @ $6.50 – Siddle always seems to find something special in front of his home crowd at the G, and although I think the Indians will outplay the Aussies, I’m tipping Siddle to take a few in the First Test.

EPL – WBA v Man City – City @ $1.40 – Man City won’t let me down here… right?

A-League – Phoenix v Jets – Phoenix @ $1.95 – Wellington are usually decent at home, Newcastle struggle on the road.

EPL- Newcastle def Bolton @ $2.80- After a flying start, they have gone 6 matches without a win, but I expect the Magpies to give their fans a bit of Christmas cheer with the 3 points against lowly Bolton.

Cricket- Australia def India @ $2.32- If the MCG groundsman can please leave some grass on the Boxing Day pitch, Australia’s pace bowling battery should be good enough to get the ball full, move it around & trouble India’s much fancied batting lineup.

A-League- Brisbane Roar def Gold Coast United @ $2.05- It’s a big boxing day clash, and the Roar will be looking to break their 4 game unbeaten streak against their local rivals, who are currently propping up the rest of the ladder.

NFL- New York Jets def New York Giants @ $1.64- As much as I want to back the Giants, the Jets have the form on the board and should do it comfortably.

NBA – Golden State vs. L.A Clippers – Clippers @ $1.40 – The NBA is back! No more betting on inferior ANBL! Anyways, the Chris Paul dynamic changes everything for the Clippers and they should get their new era off with a win.

NBA – Dallas v Miami – Miami win @ $1.60 – NBA Champions usually come out flat on opening day with the emotions running high from raising the Championship banner and the looking back of last year’s championship. However watching the Mavs receive their rings will be the Heat. Who will be pissed. I expect the Heat to take this win and usher in year two of the Heat watch.
