Ryobi One Day Cup – NSW def Tas @ $2.10 – The Blues welcome back a host of batsman, including Phil Hughes, Usman Khawaja and Simon Katich, as well as talented quick Scott Coyte. They might have to travel to Hobart, but with so many players trying to impress and push their case for a return to the Australian squad, I think they will be too good.

Super Bowl – Patriots def Giants @ $1.65 – Not really much logic behind this, other than I like the Pats more than the Giants, and Tom Brady’s three Super Bowl rings and two Super Bowl MVPs worth of experience should just be enough to take down Eli Manning and the Giants.

NRL All Stars v Indigenous All Stars – NRL All Stars @ $2.00 – This is always tough to predict, but I think the NRL All Stars will win a close one.

Serie B – Nocerina v Bari – Bari @ $2.75 – Am I missing something here? The home side are running last, while the visitors have just knocked off fifth placed Padova 3-1 and sit in eighth. And yet, they’re outsiders? Lock and load.

A-League – Newcastle Jets def Sydney FC @ $3.85 – Considering they beat the Roar in Brisbane last week, the Jets are at massive odds here, and despite being a Sydney boy through and through, I think the departure of Vitezslav Lavicka may be a a bit of a distraction for this game

English Premier League – Everton def Wigan @ $2.10 – A couple of quality signings should mean another big win for the Toffees, following on from the massive victory over Man City.
