Have your say on State of Origin Game II
What a fantastic night for New South Wales, who of course recorded a memorable 16-12 victory over Queensland to send the 2012 series into a decider.
There were a number of stand out performances, perhaps none more so than Robbie Farah, who has well and truly silenced his critics with a casual 63 tackles, the most by a player in Origin history.
Greg Bird and Paul Gallen also got through plenty of work, while Anthony Watmough made a solid return to the Origin arena. Todd Carney, Brett Stewart, Mitchell Pearce, Michael Jennings… the list goes on.
For Queensland, well, it wasn’t their best night. The loss was compounded by injuries to Billy Slater and Corey Parker, with the latter sending shock waves across the Dream Team community.
