The Punt #91

No winners last week, but there’s been some handy selections in the 91st edition of the Punt… where are our team placing their cash this weekend? Find out inside.

(Total)(Change from last week)

1. Matt (+$14.80) (-$10)

2. Adrian (-50c) (-$10)

3. David (-$28.50) (-$10)

4. Tomo (-$31.30) (-$10)

5. James (-$48.20) (-$10)

NRL – Manly def South Sydney 1-12 @ $3.00 – The Sea Eagles have been clinical this year, particularly at Brookvale. The rep week would have helped a number of their players, and I think the loss to the Storm may have halted the Rabbitohs’ momentum.
EPL – Tottenham def Wigan @ $1.95 – Spurs have hit some form lately, effectively sealing the title for Man Utd last week, and the return of Gareth Bale will only help their push towards a European spot.

EPL – Arsenal v Manchester United – Man U @ $2.90 – Very much looking forward to this one. With the league title in the bag, I’m expecting a free-flowing game.
NRL – Panthers v Eels – Eels @ $1.75 –
The Eels to get one over their local rivals.
= $5.08

Super Rugby – Crusaders vs. Rebels – Crusaders -11.5 @ $1.80 –
As much as the Crusaders have struggled this season (injuries, inexperience), they have downright dominated at home. Expect this to continue on Sunday.
NBA – LA Lakers vs. San Antonio Spurs – Lakers +4.5 @ $1.95 –
The Lakers have had the WORST luck this season with injuries. TEN of their rotation players have missed significant time due to injuries including Kobe, Dwight, Nash, Pau and World Peace. THAT’S THEIR WHOLE STARTING FIVE! This is their best hope to win a game in this series against the Spurs. It’s a shame the Lakers aren’t healthy because this could’ve been an awesome series. DAMN YOU BASKETBALL GODS!
