They catch up with the big news doing the rounds early this year, with Lance Armstrong and Manti Te’o grabbing all the headlines.

We’ve had our first winner of 2013, with Matt poking his nose in front. The rest of the field are stranded in negative territory… Can anyone pull away this week?

Only Matt was able to cash in last week, while Adrian had an extremely close call with Triple J’s Hottest 100. Unfortunately nobody else was able to get too close, but can someone win big this week and end the first month of 2012 on top?

The Summer of tennis is here!
This week on the show we assemble a fine squad, with James joining Adrian, Matt and Tomo for the first time.
We talk all things tennis, and our early favourites for the Australian Open.
There’s plenty of cricket to get through as well. We put the Sydney Thunder under the microscope, and preview the third test between Australia and India in Perth.
The NRL All Stars jersey was also released this week, and certain aspects of the new strip don’t sit too well with some on the pod.
We can’t forget the NBA either – Tomo joins us live from the USA with all the latest from the home of basketball.

A historic week for WPW, as we welcome our first ever International Correspondent, Tomo Yee, to the show. The Asian Cupdate and Australian Open Update both have their final run in this episode. Another year over, and the cabinet remains empty……
As we look back at 2010, a tumultuous year for some sports, a groundbreaking year for others, but an unfortunate one for Australia. Apart from a few stand out performers, the trophy case is basically empty from 2010 for Australia, and now we have to look back at how and why this is so. So I’ll just take you through each major sport and our apparent failure in each, and look to see if anything will be different in 2011. Read more…
