Adrian Considers: Quite a strong squad. Great to see McKay retained in the side, looks like he is a real long term prospect for the Socceroos. Interesting that Scott McDonald wasn’t picked- I guess he’s on the outer now. Kruse and Rukavytsya seem to be the next generation of forwards. Kewell is listed in the midfield, but might find himself up front like he was in the Asian Cup. Defence looks very settled now, and I can see this back four sticking around for the next couple of years at least. Brilliant to see Mitch Langerak get a call up as well- I was a big fan of his work here in the A-League, and he was fantastic on debut for Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund in their win over Bayern Munich. While disappointing for the other keepers, he could be the man to take over from Schwarzer.
