The Punt #20
We had just the one winner last week, with David backing Australia and New Zealand at RWC. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to pull him off the bottom of the ladder. We better get a big win soon… it’s not looking pretty at the moment!

EPL – Everton v Man Utd Half/Full Double – Man Utd/Man Utd @ $2.75 – After the most embarrassing defeat in Alex Ferguson’s history, the full strength Man Utd team will come out firing and go ahead early. Although I don’t think they’ll smash Everton, they should dominate and win.
&
FNt – Aust v NZ Margin – Australia 1-12 @ $3.10 – This didn’t help me last time, but I think the Kiwis learnt plenty from the one-off Test in Newcastle, and should get a little closer to the Aussies. Look out for Kevin Locke in this one!
=$8.52
Adrian
EPL – Chelsea v Arsenal – Chelsea @ $1.58 – After their shock loss to QPR last week, I’m not exactly that confident in this one. But they did have two players sent off and still were very much a chance, so I think they’ll still walk away with maximum points against Arsenal.
&
Serie A – Inter Milan v Juventus – Juventus @ $2.75 – Amazingly, The Old Lady are outsiders in this clash. Inter have been pretty underwhelming this season, and Juventus currently sit on top of the Serie A ladder. I’m backing them to get a huge away win, which would go a long way to securing the title.
= $4.35
The Phantom
International Rules- Australia HT/FT Double @ $3.30- Without doubt, this is one of the weakest Australian teams to enter the International Rules Series. Gone are the glory days of seeing Carey, Hird, Hall, Goodes et. al. kick the round ball around, but there is no way they will want to lose to a bunch of amateurs on home soil.
&
A-League- Brisbane Roar def. Adelaide United @ $1.60- Only 5 games short of the All-codes Australian record for an unbeaten streak, Brisbane are near unstoppable, especially at Suncorp, and I can’t see the Reds rebounding from a home loss to Sydney last week in time to knock them off.
&
Cricket- South Africa vs Australia- South Africa highest opening partnership @ $1.90- I went the opposite last week, and the first ball dismissal of Hashim Amla proved me right. This, however, meant Greame Smith found some form, and with Shane Watson seemingly struggling with a back injury, the Aussies could well be on the back foot early.
=$10.03
Tomo
Zimbabwe v New Zealand – Head to Head – NZ @ $1.45 – Surely NZ won’t lost to Zimbabwe again?! SURELY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
&
Australia v N Zealand – Head to Head – Australia @ $1.17 – The Silver Ferns hung onto to a one point victory in the first game. Neither team has won two in a row against the other in a couple of yeas and i don’t expect that to change. Especially after the 1 point loss, those Aussie girls must be chomping at the bit for another crack at the Silver Ferns.
= $1.70
David
FNt Australia-N Zealand IncExT 29/10 – Head to Head – New Zealand @ $4.25 – The Kiwis seem to step up a gear in these tournament games and I’ll be backing them to take this one out.
&
EFL R14 Crystal P-Reading 30/10 – Result – Reading @ $2.65 – Going a bit left field here but I’m going to back my team to take out this one.
= $11.26
