The Punt #45

Matt had a win last week getting him back in the black, and finally James didn’t. Adrian’s run of woes continues, as the only tipster in the red, while David and Tomo cleaned up on the Super Rugby, which has seen them return to them again this week. So let’s check out who our experts are backing this week

Ladder

(Total)(Change from last week)

1. James ($284.30) (-$10)

2. Tomo ($251.40) (+ $96.90)

3. David ($61.00) (+ $49.30)

4. Matt ($2.50) (+ $32.10)

5. Adrian (-$102.50) (- $10)

Matt

Super Rugby – Waratahs def Brumbies @ $1.90 – The Tahs came very close to knocking off the Crusaders at home last week, and top spot in the Australian Conference is up for grabs in this one. Their finals chances probably go with it, so I reckon Barnes will lead NSW to victory.

&

FA Cup Final – Chelsea def Liverpool @ $2.30 – Chelsea were stunned by Newcastle last week, but the EPL is far from their minds at the moment. They have the chance to win a double without finishing in the top 4, which would be an amazing achievement, and I think they’ll grab the first leg here.

Adrian

FA Cup Final – Liverpool v Chelsea – Chelsea @ $2.30 – Too easy. Amazingly could be the first of two trophies they will win this season. Who would have thought?!

&

NRL – Penrith v Melbourne – Storm @ $1.14 – Easy money. My punt season will be back on track after this weekend!

= $2.62

James

FA Cup Final – Chelsea def Liverpool @$2.30 – I’m not a massive Chelsea fan, but they’re playing Liverpool, so you can do the maths.

&

NBA – Chicago def Philadelphia @ $2.00 – Rose might be gone now, but I think the Bulls should at least make it to the next stage of the playoffs before falling out.

=$4.60

Tomo

NBA – Mavs vs. Thunder – Mavs @ $1.55 – The Mavs will be kicking themselves after letting Game 1 slip. Jason Terry is calling this ‘Game 7’ for the Mavs. He’s right. No NBA taem has ever come back from 0-3.

&

Super Rugby – Blues vs. Hurricanes – Hurricanes @ $1.50 – Both these teams are bad. But the Blues are worse.

= $2.33

David

SRg R11 Hurricanes-Blues 04/05 – Hurricanes @ $1.55 – Both teams will be desperate to get their seasons back on track. The Hurricanes have not been good of late, whilst the Blues have not really looked good at all. On form, it is the Hurricanes who should take this one.

&

SRg R11 Sharks-Highlanders 06/05 – Sharks @ $1.45 – This promises to be a good game as both teams are looking to keep their aspirations in this competition on track. The Sharks are more in need of a win, as they are in a group lagging back a bit.  The Highlanders pulled a get out of jail card last week, but they cannot afford another display like that. The Sharks are my pick for this one.
