The Punt #49

Tomo, David and Adrian all won last week. For Adrian, it was a step in the right direction, finally stopping the flood of losses. David improved his position and is a legitimate chance of cracking the top 2 in the coming weeks, while Tomo closed to the gap on James in first place. Matt is now in danger of dropping into negative territory… Who will he and the rest of our punters back this weekend?

Ladder

(Total)(Change from last week)

1. James ($332) (-$10)

2. Tomo ($292.10) (+$28.10)

3. David ($122.70) (+$28.90)

4. Matt ($15.60) (-$10)

5. Adrian (-$70.40) (+$25.90)

Matt

NRL – Raiders v Tigers – Tigers @ $1.50 – It’s going to be a lot closer than many are predicting, but the Tigers should get the job done in the nation’s capital.

&

AFL – Geelong v GWS – GWS +92.5 @ $1.45 – The Cats will win big, but I’m backing GWS to stay within 92.

= $2.18

Adrian

NRL – Sea Eagles v Dragons – Sea Eagles 1-12 @ $2.85 – The home side should be too good, but I don’t think this will be a high-scoring encounter.

&

NRL – Raiders v Wests Tigers – Tigers 13+ @ $2.90 – Tigres have found some form, Raiders are battling… Too easy.

&

NRL – Broncos v Knights – Broncos 13+ @ $1.80 – This could be unfortunate.

= $14.88

James

Soccer Internationals – Denmark v Australia – Draw @ $3.35 – It’d be a big ask for the Socceroos to win here, but a draw could be likely.

&

Serie B – Sassuolo v SampdoriaSassuolo @ $2.35 – I think Carl Valeri will go a long way to helping Sassuolo win here.

= $7.87

Tomo

G3 NBA OklahomaCity-San Antnio IncOT – Head to Head – Spurs @ $2.25 – The Spurs are playing unbelievable basketball right now. They’ve won 20 straight games and have really shut down the Thunder. Its beautiful to watch them play. While the Thunder are 5-0 at home these playoffs, I expect the Spurs to take Game 3.

&

SRg R15 Crusadrs-Highlndr 80min 01/06 – Margin – Crusaders +13 @ $2.05 – Fresh off a bye and fresh off a huge win over the Blues, the Crusaders will look to repay the Highlanders after the Southern men surprised the Crusaders earlier in the competition.

= $4.61

David

SRg R15 Waratahs-Hurricanes 02/06 – Hurricanes @ $1.95 – the Waratahs have been really disappointing this year, and have dropped out of playoff contention with a series of losses. They‘ll be tired from their trip to South Africa. All this, combined with the good form of the Hurricanes, should lead to another loss for the Sydney based side.

&

SRg R15 Bulls-Stormers 03/06 – Bulls @ $1.68 – What a match up to lead into the June internationals! This is a crunch game for both sides, and will have massive ramifications. This is the big rivalry in South African rugby, and with good reason. Both sides are having good seasons thus far, and would be desperate to win to secure top position in the South African conference. I think that the Bulls should take this game.

= $3.28
