Karise Eden, winner of Channel 9’s ratings hit The Voice, has been announced as the pre-game entertainment for the third and final State of Origin game at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday night.

Following Delta Goodrem in Game I and Seal in Game II, Eden will take to the big stage for the Origin decider. This is all off the back of her win on the show, and the release of her debut album My Journey.

So, is it the right move bringing this young performer in? Or will she crash and burn in front of the entire rugby league universe?
