Who's Playing Who?

Game III of the 2012 State of Origin series is almost here, so just like for Game I and II, we’ve rounded up the entire WPW crew for their predictions for the match.

Who’s going to win Game 3 and why?

Matt: NSW by 6 – They want it more, plain and simple. I can’t believe the rubbish that QLD are more hungry this year, they have nothing to prove and they know it. Farah, Pearce and Gallen to dominate and big T-Rex to prove unstoppable.

Adrian: NSW by 1 – They have to win. This is the best chance they’ve got at winning at Suncorp. It isn’t going to be easy, but their time is now.

James: QLD by 10 – As much as I hate to say it, I can see the same old story repeating itself again. The Maroons are farewelling big Petero, and whilst Billy Slater might be out, they’ve got a fairly handy replacement at fullback in GI. The Blues played fantastically in game 2, but still just snuck over the line, and I think the Maroons will turn it on up there on home turf.

Tomo: QLD BY 6 – While it was nice that NSW got a win in Game 2, current history would suggest that QLD could and should win this deciding game. It’s nice to think a Game 3 finally matters after what seems like forever. Whatever the result, it should be a blast!

David: QLD BY 8 – Seems like a bit of a repeat of last year. 8 for 7 series in a row.
