Megatips is with us- plenty of quality matches across all codes. The EPL is almost certainly Manchester United’s title, but there’s plenty to play for in this penultimate round. There’s one final round for players to impress for Origin selection in the NRL, there’s a blockbuster Friday night clash in the AFL, and the Super Rugby is heating up. Liverpool v Tottenham

A terrific game on the cards here. Liverpool have been flying high, scoring plenty of goals and playing an attractive brand of football. Suarez and Carroll are proving to be great signings, while Maxi Rodriguez is flourishing under Dalglish. Spurs on the other hand have been headed in the other direction. After facing Real Madrid in the Quarter Finals of the Champions League, they’ve lost much of the brilliance that saw them take Inter to the sword last year. An own-goal to Peter Crouch last week didn’t help things. Can they turn things around in this match? Everyone is backing Liverpool… can you blame us?

Bulldogs v Dragons

It is being billed as the biggest regular round game in NRL history, and if you look at the teams and the point in the season it is a pretty big game. The table topping Dragons take on the Bulldogs, who are in impressive form this year. There are also some interesting sub-plots, with many saying the hooker battle between Michael Ennis and Dean Young could determine the NSW spot, whilst Jamal Idris will be out to avenge the shellacking that Matt Cooper and Ben Creagh delt out when they met previously at the SCG. Our tipsters seem to favour the Dragons in this one, but the Dogs are more than capable of an upset.

The Phantom says…“Sadly, I have to tip Collingwood. The Pies have only lost once in their past 22 matches, although teams coming off the bye have struggled this season. Geelong are absolutely flying as well, but it’s hard to back against the reigning premiers who haven’t looked like being beaten all season”

David Shipton says… “This is one of the many hard games to pick this round, but purely because both teams have been playing really well over the competition. The game of the round throws up the two top teams in the competition, with both playing good rugby. The Reds have a great record over the past two seasons at home, but the Blues are not too bad on the road. I think that the Blues have shown enough over the last few weeks to convince me to back them. They have finally learnt how to grind out wins, so for that I’ll give it to them by 12 points or less.”
