Wallaby selection was excellent, Dan Vickerman’s selection is somewhat controversial as is Elsom’s selection as captain, Deans should have waited till the selection of the squad to name his captain. If Elsom had been contributing all season then he has earned the right to lead, however Horwell is the the new captain, he has earned the respect of the players and the supporters, he has led by example.
Higginbotham has made 6 his very own, Samo at 8 and Pocock at 7, they will be dynamic, Elsom has played 8 for Linster and I believe Deans should be looking to play him there.
