The Punt #47

James, Tomo and Matt all won big. James and Tomo are both rolling in cash, while Matt moves back into the black. David lost, but is still in third place, while Adrian continues to plod around the bottom of the ladder. Can he win something? Who are our punters backing this weekend?

1. James ($352) (+77.70)

2. Tomo ($274) (+$32.60)

3. David ($73.50) (-$10)

4. Matt ($35.60) (+$43.10)

5. Adrian (-$86.30) (-$10)

Matt

NBA Playoffs – Series win Heat def Pacers @ $1.30 – The Heat haven’t really been that hot throughout the playoffs, but I think they should be too good for the Pacers in this one.

&

State of Origin Game One Tri-Bet Margin – Either team by Under 6.5 points @ $3.00 – The Queenslanders are deserving favourites, but I think NSW have enough points in them to if not win, keep this one very close.

= $3.90

Adrian

Champions League – Chelsea @ $3.75 – Nobody expected them to get this far. Bayern might have the home ground advantage, but the pressure of a Champions League final means anything can happen.

&

State of Origin – To Score a Try – Billy Slater @ $1.70 – He’s scored plenty at Etihad Stadium. I’m thinking he’ll get one at some point on Wednesday night.

= $6.38

James

NRL- Wests Tigers def NZ Warriors @ $1.94- The Tigers had a slow start to the year, but they’re finding their feet now and don’t lose too many games at Leichardt.

&

Champions League- Bayern Munich def Chelsea @ $1.84- With the match being played at Bayern’s home ground, Allianz Arena, they will have too much strength for a Chelsea side who will be looking to put a disappointing league campaign behind them.

&

NBA- Oklahoma City Thunder def Los Angeles Lakers 4-1 @ $2.78- The Thunder should get the job done easily in this series, but LA are too good a side to get whitewashed, so they’ll sneak one win in.

= $9.92

Tomo

NBA Playoffs – LA Lakers v Oklahoma City-GM 3 – Total Combined Points – 191 & Under @ $1.85 – Expect more of game 2 than the embarassing blow out that was game 1 of this series. Hopefully the Lakers can hang on and protect their home court.

&

Super Rugby – Blues vs. Crusaders – Crusaders 12 and under @ $2.65 – Let’s hope that the Crusaders get another win, but not by too much!

= $4.90

David

SRg R13 Cheetahs-Sharks 20/05 – Sharks @ $1.62 –

The Sharks are playing well at the moment, but so are the Cheetahs. The Cheetahs are the bogy team for the Sharks, winning most of the games against them.  My money is on the Sharks on the basis that the Cheetahs give the impression they have forgotten how to win.

&

Heineken Cup Final – Leinster @ $1.25 – Leinster have Brad Thorn.

= $2.03
