A-League Gameweek 4/EPL Gameweek 10 Megatips
Time for… MEGATIPS. We’re into the fourth weekend of the A-League now, with Perth and Brisbane the only undefeated sides remaining in the competition. Melbourne Victory are still yet to score this season, and a trip to Wellington doesn’t guarantee that this will end any time soon. Over in the EPL, Manchester United fans are still in shock after the loss to City last weekend. In London, Chelsea seem to be falling apart. With two red cards, a captain embroiled in allegations of racial abuse and a loss to QPR, they will be looking for a big improvement when they face Arsenal on Saturday. A-League Gameweek 3/EPL Gameweek 9/RWC Finals Megatips
Time for… MEGATIPS. The A-League serves up its first ever ‘Rivalry Round’, where fierce adversaries will compete for not only the three competition points, but more importantly, bragging rights. The EPL is all about one game this weekend – the Manchester derby. Both sides are coming off wins in the Champions League, and sit 1st and 2nd on the league ladder. It’s going to be huge. Not to be outdone is the final of RWC 2011, where New Zealand will face France in a rematch of the 1987 final (also played at the same venue – weird, huh?) while the Wallabies face Wales for third place, much like they did that year as well. Time for… MEGATIPS. After a hot first round of the A-League, the domestic game gives us plenty of great football action yet again. In the EPL, it’s all about Manchester United and Liverpool. It doesn’t get much bigger in world club football, and no doubt you will join us in staying up for that one. The RWC also approaches its climax, with two massive semi finals. Podcast – Series 3 Episode 11
The podcast returns! This week on the show, we cover a mountain of material. From the NRL and AFL preliminary finals, to the Rugby World Cup and EPL, nothing is left untouched. “Tomo’s Think Tank” makes its debut, and is well worth listening. He touches on everything from England’s controversial black RWC strip, to Sonny Bill Williams’ playing future, Phar Lap, rugby union props, the thong, Bones, and How I Met Your Mother.
