No topic is off limits, as they discuss everything from: the length of the runway, the speed of the tank, Han & Gisele, why The Rock is awesome, and much more.

There are spoilers galore, so if you haven’t seen the film yet, save this podcast for later.

The Drawing Board – Semi Final review (02/08/2012)

Welcome to Who’s Playing Who?’s weekly rugby blog.  This week sees the culmination of a season of hard work for two teams. They have survived a brutal season. A season that involved a huge amount of travel, more grudge matches and a first ever break has thrown together two teams that can rightfully say they are the best in the competition. This was one of the least expected scenarios to be predicted at the start of the playoffs. Read more…

The Drawing Board (26/07/2012)

Hello and welcome to Who’s Playing Who’s weekly rugby blog. We are now one week through the playoffs and the best four teams have progressed to the semi-finals.  The Sharks ended the reign of the Reds as Super Rugby champions with a win in Brisbane that takes the South Africans through to the last four, whilst the Crusaders also made it through to the semi-finals after they dominated the Bulls to win. They will now meet the Chiefs in their 11th consecutive last four appearance, while the Sharks’ win has set up an all-South Africa semi-final against the Stormers. Read more…

The Drawing Board (13/07/2012)

Hello and welcome to Who’s Playing Who’s weekly rugby blog. This week is the final week of action for the round robin phase of the 2012 Super Rugby season and we still have eight teams who can get into playoff spots.  The Chiefs and the Stormers are the only teams that are certain to make the playoffs, as they have won the NZ and South African conferences respectively. Both these sides will be battling for top spot in the ladder though, as they are only separated by a point at this stage.  The Brumbies, Crusaders, Bulls, Sharks, Reds and Hurricanes probably need a bonus point victory to get into the playoff spots. The Drawing Board (06/07/2012)

Welcome to Who’s Playing Who?’s weekly rugby blog. This week saw the return to action of Super Rugby after the first ever break in the competition.  It is still really close in the competition, with 8 or 9 teams still in the hunt for the playoff spots. The Chiefs are the only team that have secured their spot in the playoffs. Read more…

The Drawing Board (15/6/2012)

Hello and welcome to Who’s Playing Who?’s weekly rugby blog. This week saw the first ever break in Super Rugby history for the internationals. So not that many games played over the weekend, but they were high quality none the less. The northern hemisphere teams are currently undertaking tours of each of the southern hemisphere countries, which is a step in the right direction for me. This allows for more drama to unfold during the course of the series, and gives teams a chance to work each other out over a few weeks. Well done whoever had the foresight to bring these back.
