Not long to go now, only two weeks until the grand final, and the games are starting to hot up. This weekend the Tigers ‘reward’ for beating the Dragons in an intense encounter is a game against the 6th placed Warriors, who lost by 30 points to the Broncos. Along the same lines, the Broncos ‘reward’ is a sudden death clash with the Dragons, who entered the finals in great form. Apparently that’s the best finals system around… anyway, check out the teams, with some BIG inclusions.

Welcome to the Drawing Board, Who’s Playing Who?’s one stop rugby shop. Not long now until the rugby World Cup starts and already the first couple of teams have started to arrive. Fiji were the first to enter these shores, but their rugby chief will not be allowed into New Zealand due to political reasons. The English have also arrived and were greeted by a crowd of over 100 people. All teams that arrive are greeted with a traditional Maori welcome. Here is some news to get us started. Read more…

Welcome to the Drawing Board, Who’s Playing Who?’s one stop rugby shop. Playoff time is well and truly upon us now in the Super Rugby season, with the two semi final playoff matches being played over the weekend. As the season draws to a close, I thought it would be a good idea to have a look at the potential makeup of the top 6. As we know from the results of the weekend, the Reds cannot be overtaken on top of the Australian conference and therefore are the only team qualified.  For the other teams though, all is still up for grabs with another two rounds left.
