Hello and welcome to Who’s Playing Who?’s weekly rugby blog. Last week I mentioned that I was unhappy with the lack of tries being scored and the bore-fests that had dominated Round 1. Well it seems someone was reading my blog! Round 2 still contained the drama and tight finishes, with the major point of difference being there were far more tries this round. What is more impressive is the manner in which they were executed. Maybe it was rustiness that prevented this being shown in the opening round, but this is what we have been waiting for ever since the end of the World Cup. Read more…

EPL Gameweek 32/NRL Round 5/AFL Round 3/Super Rugby Round 8 Megatips
Megatips time again, and time for you to get the expert’s opinions before putting your tips in. All four codes are in play again this week, with the EPL starting to hot up, the AFL kicking goals with an extra team, the NRL reliving the past in its Heritage Round, and Super Rugby starting to weed out the pretenders from the contenders. The same is happening with the WPW expert tips, as you can see below, with front-runners starting to create a gap. This week’s Matches of the Round include Liverpool vs Man City, St George Illawarra Dragons vs Canterbury Bulldogs, St Kilda vs Essendon and Stormers vs Reds.
NRL Round 3/AFL Round 1/Super Rugby Round 6 Megatips
Megatips returns again, and we’ve got a stack of fantastic matches to get through. The AFL season kicks off, while the EPL has a week off for the International window. This week we’re taking a closer look at the Bulldogs v Roosters, Geelong v St Kilda and Brumbies v Waratahs. Some mixed results (below) last week, with a tie for 1st at the top of each code… Will someone finally step up and take top spot for their own in anything? A-League Preliminary Fianl/ EPL Gameweek 29/ Super Rugby Round 3 Megatips
Megatips time for this week, and in a first we welcome our other staff members from our podcast to this wonderful post. The Phantom (Chief AFL Analyst) and Tomo Yee (International Correspondent) will be with us every week throughout the season. We’ll get a better idea whether Matt and Adrian are truly great tipsters, or whether they’ve been purposefully holding these guys back so they wont show them up.
