A-League Gameweek 3/EPL Gameweek 9/RWC Finals Megatips

Time for… MEGATIPS. The A-League serves up its first ever ‘Rivalry Round’, where fierce adversaries will compete for not only the three competition points, but more importantly, bragging rights. The EPL is all about one game this weekend – the Manchester derby. Both sides are coming off wins in the Champions League, and sit 1st and 2nd on the league ladder. It’s going to be huge. Not to be outdone is the final of RWC 2011, where New Zealand will face France in a rematch of the 1987 final (also played at the same venue – weird, huh?) while the Wallabies face Wales for third place, much like they did that year as well. A big weekend of sport, so head on in and see who we’re backing! Read more…

The Monday Wrap – 10/10/11

October 10, 2011 Leave a comment

The Monday Wrap returns following a massive weekend of sport, and one enthused (by sport), yet heavily bored (by other things) author. Trying not to miss anything I’ll take a look at the return of the A-League, the Champions League Twenty20 finals, the Rugby World Cup quarter finals (although I’ll leave the main analysis to our man on the ground and the best in the business Shippy) as well as  the battle for Brookvale version two. All that and more in The Monday Wrap! Read more…

The Punt #17

Last week our punters had a shocker, with some just missing out, and others a long way off a big win. While we had some huge odds on display last time around, you’ll notice everyone is taking a far more conservative approach this week… Who (if anyone) will walk away with the cash? Read more…

A-League Grand Final/Super Rugby Round 4/NRL Round 1 Megatips

Megatips time again this week, and we now have the NRL under way to tip on as well. This could be a great advantage for Adrian and Matt, who both are coming off impressive performances last year. We also start Match of the Round Previews again this week, with the the Roosters vs Rabbitohs, Crusaders vs Brumbies and Brisbane vs Central Coast clashes all going under the microscope. Last week our man in NZ, Tomo Yee, took out  both the EPL and Super Rugby, which has set him up as the competition front runner early on. Will Adrian and Matt be able to hold off the new challenge, or will our staffers dominate this year? You know what to do… Time to get some MEGATIPS! Read more…

A-League Preliminary Fianl/ EPL Gameweek 29/ Super Rugby Round 3 Megatips

Megatips time for this week, and in a first we welcome our other staff members from our podcast to this wonderful post. The Phantom (Chief AFL Analyst) and Tomo Yee (International Correspondent) will be with us every week throughout the season. We’ll get a better idea whether Matt and Adrian are truly great tipsters, or whether they’ve been purposefully holding these guys back so they wont show them up. Last week wasn’t such a good week for the Co-Owners of this very website, so let’s move on from that and see if the inclusion of others can inspire some truly great tipping performances! Read more…

The Summer Series comes to an end, but not after a jam-packed show.
