The Drawing Board (17/8/11)
Welcome to the Drawing Board, Who’s Playing Who?’s one stop rugby shop. Only 23 more days left until the beginning of the Rugby World Cup and everything is in full go. Whilst most down here in the southern hemisphere have been concentrating on the Tri Nations, the northern hemisphere teams have been playing a series of warm up tests against one another. I don’t think they will be too concerned with the results, but more with the way they are playing in the build up to the most important event of all. Firstly though, here is some news.

The new face of TV in 20Eleven
Each year, the 5 free-to-air networks shake up their line ups, pushing new shows in an effort to win the ratings, and this year is no different, but with an added twist. With the uptake of digital TV now at above 70%, the commercial networks are starting to realise the potential of this form, and give it some decent content, but I’ll leave that for Adrian to outline. The first episode for 2011! The technology is working again, so there is much to celebrate. We kick the year off with our predictions for the year ahead, preview the group stage of the Asian Cup, as well as the usual A-League Match of the Round. No Premier League this weekend, so we instead take a look at what catches our eye in the FA Cup. Also, we check back in with our Christmas presents, and see who’s recieved theirs. What better way to start the year of sport than with Who’s Playing Who?!
