Super Rugby Preview – Special Drawing Board Edition
Hello and welcome to our 2013 Super Rugby preview. Super rugby starts early this year, and will take on a slightly different format as a consequence. The reason for this is that the Australian teams need to accommodate the British and Irish Lions tour to Australia during the mid-year break.
The Punt #54
David got home last week, while everyone else failed to make an impact. He’s closing the gap on second, but James and Tomo’s big reserves are keeping them in control. Adrian and Matt continue their scrap at the bottom of the ladder. One punter has gone for it all this weekend… Will they cash in?
The Punt #53
Three winners last week, with James extending his lead at the top. David widened the gap between third and fourth, while Matt clawed his way back to come within a single dollar of Adrian, nearly off the bottom of the ladder. Can anyone improve their position this weekend?
The Punt #52
We took a mid-season break last week, but are back with plenty of handy multis. Where are there WPW crew putting their money this weekend?
The Punt #51
No winners last week, but there are sold bold wagers this week, with some big money possibly on the way for our experts. Who are they backing?
The Punt #50
Adrian and Matt, both down the bottom of the ladder, recorded good wins last weekend. Adrian in particular cashed in big time, and got himself out of last place for the first time in many weeks. While there’s still a big gap between second and third, it’s slowly closing… Can anyone win in this 50th edition of The Punt?

Whilst most down here in the southern hemisphere have been concentrating on the Tri Nations, the northern hemisphere teams have been playing a series of warm up tests against one another. I don’t think they will be too concerned with the results, but more with the way they are playing in the build up to the most important event of all. Firstly though, here is some news. Read more…
The Punt #10
Matt is finally off the mark, taking a fair chunk out of his debt. The rest of us were unsuccessful, but with so much sport happening around the world at the moment, surely we can back a winner? Read more…
