Podcast – Episode 43
Our Christmas episode for 2011 is here, and what a show it is!
Matt, Tomo and Adrian all hand out presents to sporting stars around the world, and we hear from some of football’s elite + an old WPW favourite with their Christmas messages.
We talk T20 Big Bash, preview the Boxing Day test, and take a look at how the NBA is shaping up ahead of the long-awaited start to the regular season.
We also reflect on the sporting achievements of Kim Jong-il, arguably one of the greatest golfers of all time.
Add to this the usual A-League and EPL coverage, and you’ve got one hot show on your hands. This might be the last one before we’re shut down by the North Korean government, so make sure you listen in!
Calamity in Cape Town
My oh my. Australians all over the country are still sitting there, wondering what in the world happened in the First Test against South Africa. Even more so, they are wondering who is to blame in all this. Is it the selectors for not stopping the rot earlier and cleaning out the whole line-up rather than simply the only batsman scoring runs? Is it the players themselves for simply throwing in the towel and not even attempting to counter the swinging ball? Or was it simply that the South African bowling attack had their big moment, and were too good for the Australians? Read more…

Will Phil Hughes again dominate the South Africans? Will Morne Morkel and Dale Steyn rip through the Australian top order like they have done with so many other nations? Will Patrick Cummins become the yougest Australian Test debutant since Craig McDermott? Read more…
The Summer of Cricket – Part One Sri Lanka
So we have the first cricket of the season (I know it’s not summer, but we’ll start here anyway) following the Argus Review, which has shaken up the whole sport, and hopefully made some immediate changes for the better. We start in Sri Lanka, and the First Test already has some interesting points coming from it. Read more…
