The Punt #52

We took a mid-season break last week, but are back with plenty of handy multis. Where are there WPW crew putting their money this weekend?

Ladder

(Total)(Change from last week)

1. James ($312) (N/A)

2. Tomo ($272.10) (N/A)

3. David ($102.70) (N/A)

4. Adrian ($68.40) (N/A)

5. Matt ($27.40) (N/A)

————————————

Matt

NRL – Rabbitohs v Panthers – Rabbitohs @ $1.20 – They should handle Penrith with ease.

&

Tour de France – Prologue winner – Fabian Cancellara @ $2.50 – I’m picking the favourite to get the job done here.

= $3.00

Adrian

NRL – Is Nathan Full Of Merritt? – Merritt 1.5+ Tries @ $4.00 – Whoever is coming up with these titles, wow. Regardless, I think Merritt will have a field day against the Panthers without their Origin players.

&

AFL – The Legend Of ZorkoDayne Zorko Over 1.5 Goals @ $2.60 – And it gets better! While the Lions haven’t been flying this year, I’m expecting them to polish off Melbourne at the Gabba. My man Zorko to kick a thousand.

= $10.40

James

NRL – Rabbitohs v Panthers – Total Points Over 44.5+ @ $1.85 – Plenty of points here.

&

Euro 2012 Final – Spain @ $2.20 – I think the current World and European champions will win again, despite Italy showing they have the side to win.

= $4.07

Tomo

Super Rugby – Crusaders vs. Hurricanes – Margin – Crusaders 13+ @ $2.10 – The Crusaders jugganaut was picking up steam before the international break. Can they carry over any of that momentum? Hope so.

&

Wimbledon Mens Winner – Rodger Federer @ $3.50 – With Nadal shockinly knocked out, this is probably the Fed Express’ best chance at claiming another Grand Slam on his favourite service. Also, if he wins, he’ll tie Pete Sampras’ record for 7 Wimbledon titles (most in Wimbledon history)

= $7.35

David

SRg R16 Highlanders-Chiefs 29/06 – Chiefs @ $1.60 – The Highlanders have lost some of the players who were so impressive when they beat the Chiefs in Hamilton at the start of the competition, and with it has gone some of their momentum. Nonetheless, the knowledge they have beaten the Chiefs and know how to do it should inspire confidence, and this one could be very tight. However, I think that the Chiefs should take it out by a slim margin.

&

SRg R16 Force-Brumbies 30/06 – Brumbies @ $1.50 – The Brumbies have five Wallabies in two for this one and Sam Carter is back so they should be favourites to beat a Force team that will be playing to give veteran Nathan Sharpe a fitting send-off as he plays his final game in Perth. He will be joined in the team by one other member of the inaugural Western Force team, Richard Brown. All the emotion and sentiment is sure to rouse the Force, but you fancy that Jake White’s men should be too wily to be caught out.

= $2.40
