The Summer of tennis is here!

This week on the show we assemble a fine squad, with James joining Adrian, Matt and Tomo for the first time.

We talk all things tennis, and our early favourites for the Australian Open.

There’s plenty of cricket to get through as well. We put the Sydney Thunder under the microscope, and preview the third test between Australia and India in Perth.

The NRL All Stars jersey was also released this week, and certain aspects of the new strip don’t sit too well with some on the pod.

We can’t forget the NBA either – Tomo joins us live from the USA with all the latest from the home of basketball.

There’s all the usual A-League and EPL coverage, plus plenty more… Get listening!

First of all, Happy New Year! I hope that your holidays are treating you well and you’ve all eaten like Eddy Curry does over a normal week.

Now, since my last lockout related post, SH!T HAS GONE DOWN IN THE NBA. And instead of doing a league preview (well, it’s a bit late now since the season’s started), I’ve decided to drop 66 random NBA related thoughts, observations and ramblings for you all to enjoy and digest like that lovely honey glazed Christmas ham that auntie [insert auntie name who baked the ham] made for the family in honour of our shortened 66 game regular season!

So without further ado, let’s do it! Read more…

The final podcast for 2011 is here! (Photo: Wolter Peeters)

We made it – this is the final episode for 2011!

This week on the show, we revisit our predictions for 2011. Some were spot on, some were close, and some were horrendously inaccurate.

We take a look at the events of the Boxing Day test, and what it means for the rest of the series, as well as the T20 Big Bash League.

The NBA is back, and we run the rule over the competition thus far.

Tomo gets us ready for 2012 in the Think Tank, as we discuss the big film releases for next year.

There’s all the usual A-League and EPL coverage, a massive rumour regarding Jason Culina, plus much more.

We’ve had… two winners! Amazing. Matt cashed in, and has shot into first place at the right time of the year. After spending much of the year on the bottom of the ladder, David has climbed into second spot and could steal it right at the death. It’s gone down to the wire – read on to see where we’re spending our cash. Read more…

'The Special One' gives this episode the tick of approval.

Our Christmas episode for 2011 is here, and what a show it is!

Matt, Tomo and Adrian all hand out presents to sporting stars around the world, and we hear from some of football’s elite + an old WPW favourite with their Christmas messages.

We talk T20 Big Bash, preview the Boxing Day test, and take a look at how the NBA is shaping up ahead of the long-awaited start to the regular season.

We also reflect on the sporting achievements of Kim Jong-il, arguably one of the greatest golfers of all time.

Add to this the usual A-League and EPL coverage, and you’ve got one hot show on your hands. This might be the last one before we’re shut down by the North Korean government, so make sure you listen in!

This week on the show, we talk Unreal Madrid – the best damn futsal team in the world.

We break down the recent loss to New Zealand in the Cricket, get stuck into Chris Martin (but make things better by playing one of his songs at the end of show), and take a closer look at the madness of the NBA free agency signing period.

Tomo’s Think Tank covers a variety of topics – more ‘Objects that do more harm than good’, a scandal surrounding Hulk Hogan, and New Jersey Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov entering Russia’s presidential race.

There’s all the usual A-League and EPL coverage, plus plenty more – get listening!
