The Drawing Board (11/5/11)
Welcome to the Drawing Board, Who’s Playing Who?’s one stop rugby stop. This week has been an exciting one, especially up north where a few of the major domestic European leagues finish their league phases and move into the play-offs. Things are beginning to shape up in Super Rugby as teams jostle for the top 6 positions. It’s quite congested in the middle part of the table, as shown by the fact that the mighty Cheetahs are now up to 10th on the overall standings!! Let’s get straight into the news. Read more…
EPL Gameweek 36/NRL Round 9/AFL Round 7/Super Rugby Round 12 Megatips
It’s Friday, and that can only mean one thing… MEGATIPS! Plenty happening this weekend- two rugby league rep games + the rest of the NRL, the multi-bye weeks in the AFL are over (for now), teams are looking to grab finals spots in Super Rugby, and the EPL is heading for a dramatic close. Our tipsters have been getting a lot right over the last few weeks… I wonder how they’ll fair this weekend? But first, let’s see how they went last week. Read more…
The Drawing (wait for it) Board- 5/5/11
Welcome to the Drawing Board for this week. Well, I hope you enjoyed the last week of rugby as much as I did. Things are getting interesting in the Super Rugby world. All the games have been meaningful and interesting to watch, but by my reckoning there are only 36 of the remaining 49 that will have an impact on the semi final spots. For the first time in a while, Matt is not on the show- he’s in camp with the Country Origin side. Adrian and Tomo step up and fill the void left by WPW’s co-owner, and pack this show full with stuff from the NRL, AFL, Super Rugby, EPL and NBA. The Mailbag has it’s biggest outing yet, The Rant is going strong, and The Phantom returns… he’s not happy by the sounds of things! Plenty of entertainment here, so listen in!

EPL Gameweek 35/NRL Round 8/AFL Round 6/Super Rugby Round 11 Megatips
Here we go again- more Megatips than you can poke a stick at! Things are starting to get interesting in the EPL, with only weeks remaining before the end of the season, while in our other three competitions, we’re only just getting into the thick of things. Welcome to another instalment of your favourite rugby blog, The Drawing Board. Hopefully you have your Easter plans sorted. I would love to say that I will be in for a few days of watching rugby but I have to go on a camp, so that has ruled me out for the weekend. However, I still will be keeping a keen eye on the matches whenever possible. Enough of that, let’s get going on this week’s proceedings.
