The Drawing Board (17/8/11)
Welcome to the Drawing Board, Who’s Playing Who?’s one stop rugby shop. Only 23 more days left until the beginning of the Rugby World Cup and everything is in full go. Whilst most down here in the southern hemisphere have been concentrating on the Tri Nations, the northern hemisphere teams have been playing a series of warm up tests against one another. I don’t think they will be too concerned with the results, but more with the way they are playing in the build up to the most important event of all. Firstly though, here is some news.

NRL Team Lists – Round 24
It is the Exercise Your Mood Round in support of mental health, but more importantly it is another of the Glory Bound Rounds, with now only 10 sides a realistic chance of making the finals. Time for… MEGATIPS. This week, we welcome back the EPL from the summer break. It’s time for the wallets to be put away (until January, that is) and for the new signings for each side to get out onto the pitch and start earning those millions. Matt and Tomo were tied for first in EPL tipping last season, and they’re here to defend the title. The Drawing Board (10/8/11)
Welcome to the Drawing Board, Who’s Playing Who?’s one stop rugby shop. A month yesterday (which was my birthday!!) to the Rugby World Cup and frantic last minute preparations for the teams involved are being made. Some are resting players, others are playing their top sides, and some are not even playing at all. World Cup squads need to be announced the Tuesday before the final Tri Nations match up between the All Blacks and the Wallabies, which gives them a match each to get their respective squads right. The competition is now really hotting up, with pretenders falling away, and contenders starting to step up. There are also some big changes with struggling teams, who are turning to young and untested players to try and get them out of their slumps. This week also represents the record-breaking 350th game for Darren Lockyer, as he finally tops the first grade matches list, so make sure you take a look at the changes before putting in tips or changes to Dream Team.
