Hello and welcome to Who’s Playing Who?’s weekly rugby blog. This week saw the first ever break in Super Rugby history for the internationals. So not that many games played over the weekend, but they were high quality none the less. The northern hemisphere teams are currently undertaking tours of each of the southern hemisphere countries, which is a step in the right direction for me. This allows for more drama to unfold during the course of the series, and gives teams a chance to work each other out over a few weeks. Well done whoever had the foresight to bring these back. A big week for The Punt, with three of our experts cashing in. James, David and Tomo all got up thanks to some smart wagering, which leaves only Adrian without a win this year. Who’s Playing Who? returns for the Summer Series! You might have noticed the numbering has changed – that’s because it was getting too damn confusing.
Join Adrian, Matt and Tomo this week on the show, as they catch up on everything that’s happened since the last podcast in ‘Stuff you may have missed’, as well as taking a closer look at the recent drawn Cricket series in South Africa.
New to the show is the Commonwealth Games Update. They cross live to the Gold Coast where David Shipton chats to the people on the street ahead of the 2018 event. We can only hope he makes it out of there in one piece.
There’s all the usual A-League and EPL coverage, as well as Tomo’s Think Tank, and Adrian gets fired up in The Rant.
