NRL Round 22/AFL Round 20 Megatips
It’s your favourite time of the week… MEGATIPS! It’s the ‘Close the Gap’ round in the NRL, and our tipsters will be looking to do so, with Tomo well clear in the NRL at this point. The AFL gives us some potentially one-sided results this round, but there are also some games which have proved difficult to tip. The Punt #8
Not just one, but two winners last week! Adrian has taken a commanding lead in the competition, roughly $90 in front of The Phantom. Tomo also got a win, clearing all by $1 of his debt. No winners again last week… and as a result, some of our punters have gone for more conservative multis in order to regain some cash. The Drawing Board (20/7/11)
Welcome to another instalment of The Drawing Board, Who’s Playing Who’s one stop rugby shop. It’s been a bit of a quite week in terms of the rugby being played, but the domestic competitions of both South Africa (Currie Cup) and New Zealand (ITM Cup) have both started up. The Wallabies have also played a test against Samoa in preparation for the Tri Nations, which I’ll be doing a short review on later. Another unsuccessful week for our multis, which is starting to raise some eyebrows around the WPW Universe. The guys in New Zealand were relying on a Crusaders’ victory, while upsets cost the Australian-based punters dearly. It’s your favourite time of the week… MEGATIPS! It’s Rivalry Round in the NRL, with a number of derbies and traditional clashes that will have players and fans alike fired up. Not to be outdone, it’s Multicultural Round in the AFL. We celebrate the different cultures and… their love of AFL footy?
