The Drawing Board – Rugby World Cup 2011 Preview (7/9/11)
Welcome to the Drawing Board, Who’s Playing Who?’s one stop rugby shop. The World Cup starts this Friday, with excitement reaching fever pitch. I’ll be doing a bit of a different Drawing Board this week and during the world cup. No News this week, but I will still do a brief ITM/Currie Cup wrap here. During the World Cup however, I will be doing a blog post almost every day to provide up to date and awesome analysis. Canterbury and Hawke’s Bay won the ITM Premiership and Championship finals respectively. This is Canterbury’s fourth consecutive title, whilst for Hawke’s Bay they earn promotion to the Premiership. The Lions, Sharks, Cheetahs and Western Provence all enjoyed victories in the Currie Cup. Read more…

Time for… MEGATIPS. Plenty happening this week, as we head into the last round of the regular season for both the NRL and AFL. The Drawing Board – Rugby World Cup Pool Preview (1/9/11)
Welcome to the Drawing Board, Who’s Playing Who?’s one stop rugby shop. Not long now until the rugby World Cup starts and already the first couple of teams have started to arrive. Fiji were the first to enter these shores, but their rugby chief will not be allowed into New Zealand due to political reasons. The English have also arrived and were greeted by a crowd of over 100 people. All teams that arrive are greeted with a traditional Maori welcome. Here is some news to get us started. Read more…
The Summer of Cricket – Part One Sri Lanka
So we have the first cricket of the season (I know it’s not summer, but we’ll start here anyway) following the Argus Review, which has shaken up the whole sport, and hopefully made some immediate changes for the better. I’ve decided to do previews of the season, starting with the Sri Lanka tour, then the South African tour, the home tests, and finally the Big Bash. By the time you are reading this, all the World Cup squads would have been announced and we will be digesting just who has been picked and dropped, who is lucky and who is not and who should or shouldn’t be there. The Drawing Board (17/8/11)
Welcome to the Drawing Board, Who’s Playing Who?’s one stop rugby shop. Only 23 more days left until the beginning of the Rugby World Cup and everything is in full go. Whilst most down here in the southern hemisphere have been concentrating on the Tri Nations, the northern hemisphere teams have been playing a series of warm up tests against one another. I don’t think they will be too concerned with the results, but more with the way they are playing in the build up to the most important event of all. Firstly though, here is some news.

NRL Round 23/AFL Round 21/EPL Gameweek 1 Megatips
Time for… MEGATIPS. This week, we welcome back the EPL from the summer break. It’s time for the wallets to be put away (until January, that is) and for the new signings for each side to get out onto the pitch and start earning those millions. Matt and Tomo were tied for first in EPL tipping last season, and they’re here to defend the title. The NRL continues, as does the AFL… we’re getting closer to the finals, and teams are starting to find themselves in must-win situations. Read on to find out who we’re backing this weekend! NRL Round 22/AFL Round 20 Megatips
It’s your favourite time of the week… MEGATIPS! It’s the ‘Close the Gap’ round in the NRL, and our tipsters will be looking to do so, with Tomo well clear in the NRL at this point. The AFL gives us some potentially one-sided results this round, but there are also some games which have proved difficult to tip.
